high idle with my swap (96 gsr in 94 coupe)
im having trouble with the idle on the gsr i put into my EG. at first there was a leak beetween the TB and IM but i fixed that, tested it by putting my hand over the throttle body and the motor cut off, so im pretty sure there are no leaks.
but when the car is running hot or cold it idles beetween 2000 - 2500 rpms.
throwing a CEL for #10 air intake temp sensor
and if you rev the engine a little bit it will drop down to about 800 rpms then go back up to 2000 rpms
the throttle body also keeps getting stuck open around about 3900 rpms.
anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

Re: high idle with my swap (gsrEGcoupe)
is the idle steady at 2000-2500 rpms...or does it jump? if it is steady...check your throttle cable and try adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body. see if that helps. and it probably wouldnt hurt to clean your iacv.

Re: high idle with my swap (slowesteg)
its steady. idle cable is good, idle screw is all the way tight, but its throwing a cel for air intake temp sensor could that have something to do with it. it only jumps like say if you rev it to like 3500 rpms it will drop down to 800 then go back up to 200 rpms.
