HIGH idle; FITV in TB sucking air... So?
Hey I have a really high idle on my 96 DX... i read some threads that said to put my finger over the hole in the TB (FITV, if im not mixing things up entirely) i do this and this picture
this is the narrow hole facing the front of the motor, not the circular on toward the passenger seat. That one also has suction, but not really as strong.
and the suction is really high and if i press hard enough i can kill the engine.
so... whats this mean. I'm sorry it may be a dumb question, but I read "Check FITV" and i did. now what?
