How about this. Search the damn Classifieds and look for people selling HIDs. Then, you can base your answer on the price they are selling them for versus the price of new ones.
Is it really THAT hard to Search the going price of HIDs?

Re: Hid's (Ben_si)
What type of HID kit do you have? is it a low beam only kit or high beam as well? If it's just a low beam kit, the cars high beam circut doesn't even plug into the HID harness making it physically impossible for it to supply any power to the low beam circut. Even if it's got both high and low beam capability it will only operate on one circut at a time...

Do you even know what comes out of that hole in your face?

Re: Hid's (CooBlueDAB)
I just figured out what i was trying to say before, I have the kit thats only low beam so if you have your high beam fuze's in, your lights wont work and you will keep blowing fuze's

Your High beam lights won't work anyway because they aren't physically plugged in so it's IMPOSSIBLE to blow a fuse when there isn't any power running through a circut.

Unless someone doesn't know what they're doing and try to hook up both circuits for whatever reason. I think there's a pretty good possibility that happened.

Re: Hid's (8krdline)
Or you could just not get HIDs at all since I don't feel like being blinded by improperly focused bright *** light. Just get the bulbs that make white light. It's a lot better than regular halogens and have a similar look. The only time you should add HIDs are when there is a factory or aftermarket Headlamp assembly that is actually designed with a projecter that shields the upper light rays so that only the road is lit and not everything infront of you.
