So I keep having this problem where the passenger HID keeps going out during hard braking in my 99 ek hatch. It only happens if I have to come to a sudden stop like for a huge pothole. I find it really weird because it doesn't go out when I hit bumps and such, only during hard braking and its only that side. If i turn the lights off and switch them back on real quick it comes back on. It also turns back on if i switch to the high beams and back to lows real quick (i have hid lows with regular halogen highs all in one) I have tried jiggling the wires while the car is standing still but nothing happens...I am completely stumped and don't know what to do...Any ideas?

Not a Civic issue.

Sorry to tell you but it sounds like you got crappy HIDs.

Well I didn't buy them...The car already had them when I purchased it. Guess Its time for new ones.

Sounds goofy! Check out DDMtuning.com's H4/9003 Bi-Xenon HID kit. They are pretty reliable, lifetime warranty, and have HID hi and low.

Now regarding beam pattern, that is a different issue, and can not be solved without a projector retrofit.
