Default HID lights in stock housing...lets clear this up

I am getting hids soon and I keep hearing a million things about how its going to look like crap in the stock housing but I have seen lots at the track and they all look pretty damn nice to me...I know it would look better with a projector but I dont care that much I just want to see at night...so anyone with hids in a stock housing are they really that bad?

we put hids from a audi tt into a 89 mazda b2200 on air, with stock housing and is fricken bright, and awesome. Yes you would get better output from the projectors but stock housing will be fine.

Agreed stock housing will be fine. If you go to procar parts they have a stock looking headlights that are clear i nthe front. Almost looks like the perfect headlighy for our cars with HID conversions in them. I'm probably going to order a set tomorrow.

I have HID's in my car with oem (blacked out) housings and the output is still great. I also know 4 more people that have HID's in stock EG headlight housings and they all work great too.

I haven't personally dealt with mr. jung but i've heard that his products suck, and he doesn't back his warranty like he says. I want a set of the 350z HID on my car how would I go about doing this? Does anybody know or should I just get a 4500 kelvin kit that looks similiar?

I donno about eg's but the diffuser in my ek causes a dark spot and casts a shadow. I will eventually get some jdm headlights without them.but you can always aim your lights as to not blind people.

Well I've heard of some of his products arriving broken and he wouldn't take it back to replace it. Do a search, and something will possibly turn up.

He has some negative comments and some positive. I thin kthe biggest complaint about him was his response time and returning messages.

The reason why its brighter is becasue there is no reflector. You'll get pulled over eventually.

You tool. Aim your damn headlights correctly!

You are blinding people. That's why they flash you
