I dont think there should be any problems the only things that would get you in trouble is Red and Blue or at least thats what i always got a ticket for.

To my understanding, the law in cali is if your car didn't come with HID's from the factory, then its illegal to have them on.

Yes they are illegal if your car didn't come factory with HID's but as long as you have the right headlights you'll be fine. HID's require projector headlights because if u have reflect. headlights it blinds oncoming traffic.

if you buy them off a website... some where on the website it will say, "for off-road use only" Thats the business' way of getting out of trouble. If you buy it and install it and use it on public streets its your fault, not the company you bought it from.

Also it may even say on the box too...

got this from a "sponsors" website....

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">No HID or racing seats available from any source is DOT approved if installed outside of the factory. Moreover, in the U.S, this is not street legal for use on public roads. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition and off-road use. We are not responsible for buyers who violate the terms of sale while in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use.</TD></TR></TABLE>

You might want to review CHP's website.
http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

Illegal...

* Blue and yellow headlights. Headlights must be white - blue and yellow are illegal (24011 VC). Look for the DOT symbol on the bulb and package.

* Headlights brighter or higher wattage than those from the factory. You may be able to see better, but the lights are illegal (24011 VC).

If you still have questions PM me! or go here - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2096150
