get aftermarket projecters (please no angel eyes ) and buy some e39 or audi a6 projectors to retrofit. sell your kit and buy an OEM d2s setup. you dont know lighting until you've swapped OEM HID's.

whatever you do, dont put an HID kit on aftermarket halogen projectors. it will be worse than you have it now.

right now I've got e39 projectors, ballasts and bulbs for low beams, and piaa driving lights mounted inside the headlight housing for highs. I didn't feel like messing with bi-xenon's, and for high beam, reflectors work better IMO.

any projector will do because you're gutting it and replacing the optics (projector units) with OEM optics from another car. i don't even know what brand mine are, nor do I really care. just get a style that you like and go from there.

you wont find a d2s *kit* persay, because the d2s bulb is proprietary to HID. meaning, if you have d2s, you have HID. there is no halogen d2s or d2r. what you need to get is a d2s projector, bulb, and ballast. search on ebay for d2s or d2r projector and you'll get a few results of people selling all the items together. in the end it runs about the same price as any halogen adapter kit. but keep in mind that this is a little more involved than putting 12v to a ballast and plugging a rebased bulb into stock headlights. once you get your projectors, pop them in the oven and open them up and take a look at what you got. every unit is different so i cant really say. them goto http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com and look through the OEM HID database and find a projector unit that fit the dimensions of the halogen unit you already have. there's a lot to learn about this, and it will seem intimidating at first, but trust me, it's worth it. the pics on there speak for themselves

once i finish my project i'll do a writeup
