alright i have the K2 7000k HID kit in my 99 Civic HB... this past couple weeks, the lights will flicker when you first turn them on. finally yesterday, JUST before a 400 mi. trip, the right one exploded.

before checking the bulb, i was troubleshooting the wiring and noticed a wire that had lost partial contact, or wiggled loose. so i'm going to correct the issue.

now when i turn the light on, of course the bulb that popped doesn't turn on, but it makes a brief buzzing sound. is this just because the bulb is popped? or could there possibly be more faulty wiring?

also, since i'm here... does anyone have, or know where i can obtain some replacement bults for this hid "kit"???

They buzzing sound might come from water, say if you have some condensation build up in it.

Is the buzzing sound just when its a cold start, or after everytime like if they were on for 15 minutes, you shut it off, and turn em back on, does it buzz then??

there's no water, the buzzing comes from the bulb, if i detach the connections to the bulb, even the receptical on the harness buzzes, but not as dramatic. i think because it can't deliver the 'spark' or whatever its trying to do... i'm not sure. but there definately isn't water in the system anywhere.

alright i think the buzzing is just the light being blown... and i got the faulty wiring taken care of.

now all i need is a replacement bulb... someone PM me if you know where i can get one.
