Default HID in Denjis

Ok first of all I DID search and I found one topic on what I am looking for but was unclear to me. My question is this, I already bought the denji projector headlights for my hatch, but I have not but them in yet cause I just decieded to wait till I get some HIDs. I am new to the lighting game so am not sure of what kind of bulb I need to buy for the setup. If anyone is already running some denjis in their 92-95 hatches or any civic of that kind with HIDs if you could give some input and some insight of what I should or should not buy. thanks

you can pick up a HID conversion that will use your aftermarket projectors. But it will likely not be as bright as OEM HID units.
the second true retrofit style is to pick up a set of projectors/bulbs/balists/ignitors from a car that cam eith HIDs from the factory. Then pull apart your aftermarket headlights and custom make mounts for them to mount into your housings.
HIDplanet.com is a great resource.

I can't just buy a kit that hooks up to the denjis?

yeah stock headlight will just send the light from the HID everywhere. You have to have a housing setup for HID (ie. projectors, or housing like on the 04 TL's).

Hey thanks a lot. that thread has a lot of useful information and is well done. Good looking out.
But I also found that I may not be ready to get that involved in headlights

I am not getting that serious with the headlights. I just want to know if I buy an hid conversion kits for a 95 civic will it fit into the denji projectors I bought. I have heard that the light output on the denjis is half way decent anyway, so I am not going to do all of that for a little bit better output on my lights.

Denji projectors take h3 bulbs. So you would have to pick up a h3 bulb HID kit.
