hey need a couple questions answerd with my mini me swap please

Default hey need a couple questions answerd with my mini me swap please

hey just baught this motor from a guy its a d16z6 head with a d15b7 bottome end all z6 studs,timing belt and head gasket i have my d15b7 intake mani and tb hoping to change that out soon. and i am still running stock d15b7 non v ecu i got a chipped 28 with s200 just waiting to get all this stuff worked out to get it in so i can get it tuned
but here is my problems 1. the guy never took the oil jet out so i guess my vtec will not work right? its safe to drive like this tell i can get it out? also anyone got a picture of this jet and is it possible to get it out by takin the oil pan off or do i got to take the head off again to do it? if i do its not bad but would rather not buy a new timing belt

2.i herd a guy talking at the track a while back saying the cam timming is off about thee degrees when doing this set up. ture or not?

3. my car runs fine up talk and in higher rpms but down low when takin off and stuff at full throtal the car boggs down and dont really want to go anywhere but if i only give it about half or slowly ease in to it its fine......any ideas? like maybe cuz i got the 1.5 ecu in there? maybe injectors or cuz the cam timming is off i still have not checked if he had the timing right in the first place so i still doing that tonight


but if anyone could help thanks alot. just let me know what i can do and what i need thanks again for any help

you must take the head off to remove the oil jet. Search mini me. Yes its safe to drive like that, just don't rev it out like mad. From what i know yes the timing will be off. You need a z6 intake mani and throttle body.

It'll run fine without it for now, but no oil gets to the solenoid and through the rockers for vtec. The oil jet is just a plug towards the back of the block between cyl. 2 and 3, it pulls right out, no biggie. The bogging problem sounds like a timing issue to me.

yeah i found out its about about 4.75 degrees and that a y7 or y8 cam gear willl fix that..... and now i am just waiting to get a new head gasket and stuff before i take the head!!!! kinda sucks but thanks alot for all of your help
