Hey need 02 sensor help.
I went to auto zone and they told me 2 things were out. O2 Sensor And Idle control sensor is out. So i bought the 02 Sensor. I have not put it in yet becu i want to ask a little about it. The car Jumps RPM's like 1000x RPM's To 2000X Rpms And back and forth intill car is warm. Me Putting the new O2 Sensor in Will it mess it up again from the other sensor being all messed up?
and is there another about the 02 sendor i should know like does it got to be tight to a right force or something?
I dont know much of 02 Sensors so feel free to say easy dumb stuff lol.

I don't know what engine you have but that sounds like a dirty "FITV" to me. Cleaning it up good with brake cleaner would probably stop that jumping idle when cold. There's a link below for a How To on cleaning the FITV(Fast Idle Thermo Valve). In the How To it shows the Intake manifold removed, I assume the guy that wrote it was doing something else and had the IM off. You don't however need to take the IM off, I usually just disconnect the throttle cable from the Throttle Body, Unbolt the throttle body and take it to a work bench and take the FITV off and clean it.
