help on wire harness'
I'm starting to learn a little more each time I jump on these forums! Hellla techies in here and I appreciate good answers!
What modifications are there when I use the 2000 civic si engine wire harness on an obd1 engine b16a3? Is this possible to use on the b16a3 if I use the 2000 si cabin harness? This all goes in a 93 civic hb.
Thanks again

not sure but I think the 2000si harness is one piece, unlike the 93 harness which is 2 piece, i would use the 93 harness and add the needed wires to run obd 1

Re: (egsleepercivic)
are you talking about 2 pieces as in the Cabin and then the Engine Harness? no cuz I have an obd1 engine but someone has an engine harness from 2000 si..but thats 1 piece?

just use an obd1 engine harness. converting your obd1 dash harness to obd2b will be a mission and you will end up having to replace interior components making it very expensive. in addition you will have to convert some plugs on the si harness into obd1 just to get the harness to work on the engine (i.e. injectors). Much much easier to just stick to obd1.

Use the OBDI engine Harness its not that bad and if u got to you might have to cut and splice about 20 wires to make it work if you still use a OBDII Dizzy, ALternator, Injectors
