Help! Stalling at idle and breaking up at 3k!
Okay, so I was cleaning up some of the wiring on a car I just picked up and one of the wires to the dizzy was twisted to get. Well me not knowing I hit it came loose. So i go and start the car I get nothing. After realizing it was dizzy related I removed the dizzy and whala, wire not connected. I put everything back together and she runs. Now Ive noticed the car doesn't wanna stay running at idle and Its had a issue at around 2800 rpms it tends to break up though it has done this since I got the car. I scan the codes and I get #19 auto transmission ??? and #1 02 sensor any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

What year/engine?
Regarding code 19, do you have an automatic transmission?
If you unplug the primary O2 sensor, does the problem go away?
In what condition are your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?
Have you checked the ignition timing with a timing gun?

its a lvs vtec setup. ever since i took the dizzy off the car its had a problem with staying on at idle. before I put the o2 sensor on it was throwing a code #41 as well as code #1. so I took my o2 sensor off my other civic(wasnt sure it it was a good one) and code #41 went away but still having the code #1
plugs and wires look fine.

If you have a MT, then you have the wrong ECU.
How do the contact points on the cap and rotor look?
As you have been messing with the dizzy, the ignition timing may be off.

they look fine, as for a wrong ecu I have a spare p28 think i should give it a shot and swap ecu's? As for the Dizzy all i did was remove the dizzy from the head and put it back in the same position as it was in.
