Help with rear disc swap
Hey guys. First post on the good ol' Honda-tech. Yup i'm a newb. I have searched around on the site and can not find a good answer. ok
I have a 94 ex coupe. I just did the Rear disc swap from another civic with rear disc. I am wondering what proportioning(SP) valve I need to use. I have heard many different things. I'm just looking for the right answer. Thanks for your help.

Re: Help with rear disc swap (BmoreCivic)
You don't need a new prop valve when swapping to rear disks. I had stock 9.5" fronts with rear disks and a 3030 prop valve, it was perfectly fine. You only need a 4040 prop valve when you upgrade your fronts to 10.3".
90-93 Integra and 94-95 Integra RS all have 4040 prop valves, 10.3" front brakes, and rear disks.

My rear brakes are getting ate up big time. I have replaced them 2 times in the past year. The calipers arnt sticking. Everything seems to be working fine i'm guessing it's the proportioning valve.
