Default Help! Poor Mans R Question

So I got a Poor Mans R (B18C1 bottom end and a JDM B16A head). The GSR block has GSR timing belt parts (16T crank cog and 22T water pump with GSR tensioner). The B16A head has AEM Tru-Time 3 bolt cam gears, not sure if that makes a difference at all but regardless.

Anyways my question is, what timing belt works?

I tried a GSR belt and it has way too much slack, approx 90 degrees of deflecting in the belt and a SiR belt won't even fit unless I toss the tensioner, and that's not even ****ing possible.

Any help is appreciated here! :D

It has too much slack after the tensioner is maxed out?

Yeah tensioner is MAXED right out.

I don't mean exactly 90 degrees, but I mean I can turn the timing belt to basically look right AT the ribbed portion that rides the cam gears etc.

I would think that the B18C Type R belt would be the ticket as the cam gears on the GSR may sit higher. That is, however, just speculation.

Bumpity!!

GSR/Type R are 1 tooth in difference and an LS is 2 teeth off.
Also, B17 GSR and Civic SiR are the same tooth count!!

I need help bad or this won't run at all.

What does the Type R pistons have to do with my question at hand?

I have B16A pistons in the block on GSR rods/crank, which yields a 11.1:1 compression ratio.
