Icon2 help please

i bought a 1995 civic ex 2 doors d16z6 vtec with an automatic-transmission and a 200000km

so first of all i thoght that my engine is not bad and could be moddifieded so i bought a manual-transmission and it cost me about 700 USD to instal it

and i got a cold air intake, sport wires with bosh spark plugs BUT i didnt get what i expect from my engine, i hear the vtec screem but not with power at all.

so did i waist my money or shall i proceed moding my engine ?
and if my engine is bad could i use the same transmission on other engines?

please i want full helping answers

how much power are you looking to get tho?

my friend had a z6 with just basic bolt ons (aem intake, skunk2 intake manifold, dc header, exhaust) and he kept up with 99-00 si's at the drag strip.

You over did it with $700. You saying you couldn't find a manual model to begin with? Anywho Bisimoto is working on his d2b adapter kit. That's just what I've heard from one of his reps in his forum. Good thing is he has a d2f/h adaptor kit thats been out for awhile and alot of guys have gotten pretty good results from it. So if you want you can always mount a f series or h series motor in there. Just pm his rep.
