Default Help Out A Buddy With An Oil Leak

so my buddy has a 00 civic si with turbo setup it has a oil leak promblem coming from his catch can for some reason i wanted to know if his setup is correct or not its leaking from the filter in the picture and the can is not full any help would be appreciated

I'm not familiar with your setup. Is your friend using reinforced hoses to handle the pressure?

looks like the oil is making up to the filter and then the air it throwing it out and all around?

the hoses look tough enough to handle the pressure and wht your saying jooky5 is exactly what its doing what should i do about it

I think the catch can is made wrong.. whatever oil comes from the hoses should leak down into the can. Yours pushes the oil up. I don't think you can fix it. It would need like some sort of baffles inside to divert the oil and allow the air to go by.
I just think its a bad design.
And really do you need a catch can? Hondas go 300,000 miles without them.

i thought the same reason why even put one on the damn car but my buddy bought the car like that and now its doing that stupid stuff should the valve cover even be t necked into the catch can
