help!!! no spark and no fuel on a d16z6.

Default help!!! no spark and no fuel on a d16z6.

i have a 94 civic with a z6 in it. the car **** out and is getiing no spark or fuel. what should i do and what can i test? ecu, main relay(if there is one) any fuses? also where would the main relay be located. thanx

main relay is up under the dash near the fuse box. check the efi fuse under the hood too. it is the fuse in the back left of the fuse box.

Check the igniter and the coil in the distributor.

If the motor has been sitting for awhile maybe the injectors are seized up, take a 9V battery and put metal leads on each end of the battery, remove the clips from the injectors and place a lead on each of the prongs on the injectors. You should hear them clicking. If they are seized up do this for about five mins across all four injectors and it may fix your problem. Other then that check your fuses like someone said earlier. You can also check your distributor, spark plugs, and spark wire leads. Good luck

also if youve painted the engine bay make sure you get a good ground...

ok got goor ground.... main realy is good.... a couple of blown fuses and fixed those. i really think i have a short. there is no power going into the main relay.... man what the hell to do now

an injector works off MILISECOND pulses of electricity, you can EASILY stick an injector open by doing this.

its usually grey and it will say mitsuba or somethin like that on it

thanx guys good posts. i found the main realy and its good. i tried it in another eg. i have no power going into the relay. i tried to change 2 fuses in the dash panel and they blow as soon as i hit the ignition. so i guess i have a short. any info on tracing this?

its the last 2 on the fuse panel......the ones nearest to the passenger side. damn i cant think of them. im almost sure this is why the main relay is not gettin power. these 2 fuses are seperated from the rest on the panel. i think one was srs and the othe had a 3 letters on it too.
