Default HELP No pressure in the clutch lines

I did a tranny swap so I have new lines, a new master, slave and clutch and pressure plate. I am trying to bleed the lines, but I cannot get any real pressure coming out of the bleeder hose. I am pumping the pedal for around 5 minutes with the bleeder hose in a cup of fluid. Should there be alot of pressure?? Do I need to give it more time to fill since it is a compleatly dry system. I have already looked for any leaks and there are none. The only thing that i can think of was when I was pulling the master through the fire wall I pulled alittle hard and the plunger poped out of place I then pushed it back in did I ruin it????

sounds like you still got air in the lines. keep bleeding. the easiest way i do it is put a clear hose on the nipple into a jar [like you are doing] and put some fluid in the jar too so it doesnt suck air. open the valve. make sure you ALWAYS have fluid in the resovior or have a friend watch and fill it for you while you are pulling and pushing the pedal in and out.

put fluid in the master cylinder/ open up the bleeder on the slave cylinder and pump the clutch. wait for fluid to come out

Remember you have to open the valve, pump the clutch, then close the valve before letting the clutch back up.

If it was somthing that I did when I put on the new clutch the shift fork would still move only there would be no pressure am I correct??? Or is there somthing that i could have done that would give me no pressure and not move the shift fork. Because I really don't want to have to take the tranny off again it sucks
