Ran Tranny Fluid in Clutch Hydraulic system. Asking for a Friend
Hey guys, so my "friend" accidental did something ridiculous and had tranny fluid running thru his clutch lines for a bit until the clutch ultimately lost pressure. Now Im trying to fix it by putting dot 3 in it and getting all of the fluid out. The problem is that I'm getting pressure momentarily and then it slowly falls to the floor. Should I keep bleeding it? Did I (I mean my friend) break the hydraulic lines somehow??
Edit: Also Ive tried bleeding it a few times.

The clutch line itself should be fine after you've completely bled out all of the trans fluid. As for the slave and master cylinder, I really have no idea.
Make sure you're using a proper bleeding method and there's no air in the system.

Oil based fluids will ruin the rubber used in brake and clutch systems. You need to remove and discard both cylinders and the rubber hose, then flush out the metal line with solvent and rinse it with brake fluid. Replace the cylinders and hose with new ones.

Im going to try to bleed this sucker first. The last thing i want to do is replace the exact things that I was just replacing, but if Im not able to get any pressure this is probably what Ill be doing

You're wasting your time trying to bleed it, the transmission fluid will ruin anything rubber almost instantaneously. Remove the master cylinder, slave cylinder and rubber line. Flush the steel hard line with brake clean followed by a little clean brake fluid, the install new cylinders and a new flex hose.
