Help Needed
I plan to buy a 96 honda civic ex couple. It has 120K. The engine is very quiet at low rpm, when accelerating, noise increased alot, is it something related to exhaust or engine it self. All other stuff is ok. Can I buy this car?

Re: Help Needed (xingyun)
is it stock?
might be the timing belt, if you plan on swapping, seriously planning on it, then the seller would have to take something off the price
not to be a dick, but are you sure it's not v-tec kicking in?

Re: Help Needed (Smith Wise)
i do not think it is from v-tec kicking in, the noise is just greater than normal, for example, the noise at 2500 rpm sounds like the noise at 3500 rpm.
