So i just bought this junked 94 civic EX with a 95 D series VTEC engine. I didn't do anything fancy to it, i replaced the tranny and it seemed to be working great until my dad drove it. Now, it screeches like a bat out of hell. Its like a high pitch squeel, sort of like the noise speakers make when the wires are bad, but this noise is louder and comes straight from the engine bay. it's so loud that i can't pinpoint where it is actually coming from. Also, it only stops when i accelerate, not when i step on the clutch or the brakes, it makes the noise while the car is stopped and it doesn't get louder or quiter. Help me out guys.

Uhh no it sounds like an alternator belt, or maybe P/S belt

Its a loose accessory belt. They whine when they are too tight and squeal when they are too lose. Check your alternator, A/C, and P/S belts.

yeah a timing belt squeel would sound more like valves shooting thru pistons
