Default Help for my beautiful inner CV boot!!!

Is it supposed to look like this? Do I need to open up the boot and reassemble it or should I just try to push it in? My knuckle would not go back into the right place!! I've been working on this for the past 2hrs and I am suffering heat stroke ...lack of exercise...

I bought a BRAND NEW axle from advance auto parts and it looks just like that.

Don't fret, unless the boot leaks/explodes your fine.

I meant the inner boot, looks like its been stretched when I try to pull on the knuckle. I check the other side of the boot it looked just like the outter boot. Also I can't put the knuckle back to place, its tilting and wont attach to the UAC. Thanks a lot.

so sorry doode ..
the axle fell out of it's place .. if you're good you can put it bak in w/o
having to take the boot off.. but you have already tried for two hours..

why not take off that wishbone look like thingy out of the way.. it will be easier.

ran into same problem when install of teins it was a f@ckin pain in the ***..
took the boot off placed the whatchamabobers bak in (poof) all was fine ..
used a 4 inch clamp to tie it bak down.. haven't seen a problem yet..

Sorry dude I lied...I've been smoking and drink ice cap half of the time...
It is my first time doing this kind of work on my car, integra brake swap.
Let's just say I am not good at it, and I do take the axle off. Someone told that I only need to take part of the axle off? Using a punch and a hammer?
Is it hard to replace the boot and repack and stuff? As you can see I have already jack the LCA up so the axle is parrellel to the ground.

Like said above, looks streched to far out, push it back inboard a little, should be fine.
