Help me verify a proplem, and solution
So right now I belive my rear mount is shot along with my passenger side axle. The reasoning behind this is I sometimes have trouble downshifting intermitenly not all the time just now and then, often at higher RPMS. I dont belive its a syncro proplem because it dosent allways happen and if there bad it would be a proplem all the time so.
With the axle I get a noice on aceleration kind of hard to describe, If I push the clutch in I think I can still hear it just no where near as bad tho, its allways its loudest on aceleration.
If anyone has some info on this issue that could help me out id apreciate it.

No but it feels like a bent rim when I do that where the car kinda hops up and down so to speak.

Re: Help me verify a proplem, and solution (life sux die)
haha, i just had the exact same problem on my 93 sol b16 swap. I was at the track launching crazy and my passenger side (tranny side) axle pulled out about 1.5" inches. It was sooooo sad, they were like 2 month old axles too. Anyways, the track is a good 60 miles from my house so i drove home with it. To make a long story short, I first thought it was the wheel bearings, motor mounts, etc... I would shake at acceleration and have problems downshifting at somewhat high rpms, then, i noticed the axle. All my "honda guru buddies" said it was a bad rear motor mount. Sux for them because it wasn't. I replaced the axle and my car purrrrrsssss once again. No problems, no motor mount issues, no sycro or bearing issues. Replace the axle and go from there !!!
My motor mounts are wearing out though, so i am just going to get some energy poly urethane motor mount inserts for a wopping ($30)

I want to replace the mounts, where are you getting yours from?
I have never actually checked them, I belive they are bad tho if you place your hand on the hood you can feel the motor vibrating around a lot under the hood, more then normal.
But I think I'll start with a new axle and go from there.

mounts it is usually hit or miss. its always a good thing to get more support. you can get energy inserts almost anywhere, any performance shop and if they charge you more then $30, then get them on ebay.
