Is this a good engine (1.6L B16A1 DOHC VTEC for: $563) to replace my 1.6 sohc vtec engine????

Do any of you have this engine, dose it have potentional? ANY POWER?????

isnt that the first gen b16a?? if your car is a 92+ you will have to dump in a lot more money into the motor and car to make it work.. first off you will need a cable -> hydro conversion, and some others stuff.. but that does sound like a good price for a COMPLETE swap for a first gen b16.. if that is just the long block you will spend more money on the tranny, ecu, and other things..

yes it has 160hp and around 112 ft/tq i think.. not sure on the toruqe numbers

most likely its just for a first gen b16 longblock.
not bad but not great.
you will need to buy a tranny, axles, etc.
try to find out what else comes with the motor.. ecu? axles? mounts? you want mounts yes yes oh yes you do.

Its just motor and ECU, no tranny i think. Tranny I can pick up for like 300.

I found an H23A (2.3 dohc vtec) for less than 2k how about that one, same with a H22a for less than 2k. Thats what i really want, But any Dohc vtec is fine for me, expecialy when its less that 600 dollars!!!!!
