Check with the cam manufacturers and see what they say are required for valve prings to run those cams. If they say stock valve springs can be used then you're fine but if they say to upgrade, wait till you have the money to do it right or damage and poor performance will be the result.

thanks for the rescue guys. i was gonna go with the crower stage 2 with no valve springs upgrade due to budget. i dont race at the track all the time, just my daily car.
so zex stage 1 should be my choose.

Re: (kaoss_11)
Zex stage I is a REALLY mild cam. The Crower Stage II is more designed for turbo...so if you don't have turbo, I wouldn't go with that (plus you need to upgrade valve springs/retainers).
Crower Stage III (full race) might be nice if you get new valve springs and retainers (maybe valve guides, depending on what shape your head is in). It's definitely NOT a mild cam, and it's not designed for turbo, but for all motor/nitrous. I see this as the best bang for the buck.
Zex stage I : Too weak
Crower stage II: need valvetrain upgrades, only for turbo
Crower stage III: need valvetrain upgrades, only for all motor/nitrous. Best power gain.

Re: (Del_Slo_1)
there is a crower stage 2 street/strip all motor one as well, but it recommend valvetrain upgrade. thats the one im bout to get but i just wanted to know should i go with my stock valvetrain and not reving past 7400.
and the zex stage 1 dont required any valvetrain but its weak
so far, they say unsafe without valvetrain, but i want to know would it be safe if i dont go too high on rpms.

Re: (Ignitecivic)
I wouldn't go with the stage II cam without valvetrain upgrades. That's a risk you're willing to take? You've got *****, man. If you have spare stuff lying around, do whatever...but to me, my head is worth a lot more. There's a saying that I know that fits perfect here: Do it right, THE FIRST TIME.

Re: (Del_Slo_1)
Crower has a stage II turbo/surpercharger cam and a street/strip cam. The Stage II street/strip cam is for n/a. Also The Crower Stage III cam requires cylinder head modifications and ecu tuning, besides the required springs and retainers.
