Default stage 3 cams ?

has anyone ever ran stage 2 or stage 3 cams on a b16 b18 etc with stock valvetrain? i plan on putting some stage 3 in for a month or 2 until i get the springs/retainers and wonder if its safe to do so (from someone whos done it) i know i shouldnt but the car isnt really even going to be used maybe driven once or twice a week and not raced till the new springs are in..
just temp to get the motor running.

no it's not safe. just wait until you get the springs so you dont have to spend more for the damage.

if you are sincere in saying that you won't be driving it, then yes, it would be safe. you could drive it if you didn't hit vtec, technically, since the primaries are probably almost identical to your oem primaries. i wouldn't, but thats just me. i'm **** about things like that. moving the car around the lot and so forth i wouldn't be the least bit worried though.
