HELP!! Just bought this car and tryed to smog it...
Hey guys,
I just bought this 93 Honda DelSol, I need to register the car so I went down to the smog place and everything passed instead of the "Ignition Timing" I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out with this problem I'm a NOOB with honda's....Need to fix this problem ASAP..

1) Get a timing gun and set the timing back to the correct value.
2) The seller is responsible for making the car pass smog, before the sale. If you bought it without a current (90 days) valid smog cert, you took a risk on it, but the seller is still responsible for making it pass. You can take him to court for it.
Only a non-operational car can be sold in Cali without a smog cert. Anything registered and sold without one is an illegal sale.
