HELP! Idle problems with GSR before state ref
Occasionally after downshifting and letting it ride to slow down, the idle remains high. It stays like this for a while, seems to go away after hitting vtec a few times. Could it be a vacuum leak? Am I running rich? Since it's not throwing any CEL's, I have no idea what is happening. A shop tried to use the scanner to read the rich/lean codes, but nothing came up. Any suggestions? I don't think it'll pass the state ref if I leave it like this.
97 civic hb.
2000 GSR B18C1
Stock modified 97 civic hb wire engine harness
(note: wiring looks like crap, but works, no CEL)

Re: (mr 636)
Wait, whats it doing? You downshift and leave it in gear while you ride it out and the idle is high? Thats normal.
When you have the car in nutreal chilling at a stop or something wheres the idle at? You need to explain whats going on better.
