HELP! HELP! my fuel and coolant gauge
I just bought a EX gauge cluster real cheap because the fuel and coolant gauge did not work. So I went to a friends house and he had a fuel and coolant gauge and it was working at his house (We tested it out on his sisters civic). I took the fuel & coolant gauge off and put it on the EX cluster I bought and the fuel is always full and the coolant will not move. And if I move the screws around and then they both go up and stay up.
Help what wrong is this fixable or should I buy another gauge cluster HELP ?

Re: (1 point 6)
My friend's old EX cluster has a broken tach so I took the fuel & coolant gauge off that cluster. A took the gauge home and replaced the broken fuel & coolant gauge with the one I got from my friend. Also the printed circuit board has a small scratch on it, but it just scrached the green insulation nothing else.

Re: (Mr. 1582)
So what you are saying is that you took apart the clusters and switched the gauges around? Umm I'm gonna have to go ahead and tell you that I have never heard of anyone doin that before. I would say you need a new cluster, but don't quote me on that somone else on here might have done this before. I work at a dealer and when there is a broken gauge in the instrument cluster, we either replace the sending unit or the entire cluster.
