Where are you from? You might be able to find someone from the board with experience around you who can do it alot cheaper than the dealer. Just a thaught.

I would go to an import specialist shop. The "basic" rate now is between 60 and 75 dollars an hour....and by the books, a head gasket change is about 2-3 hours, plus parts. So you could be looking at like 120 to 225 labor plus parts- 60 for gasket, (might as well get new timing belt, water pump), so there's another 100 or so.
Or like stated above, ask around for someone to do it. I would do a head gasket job on a single cam for 50 bucks personally. Takes about an hour total...and I don;t have a shop and business taxes I have to pay
