I had the same problems before also. Check all the fuses, when checking the fuses look at the fuse box and look for any kind of short/blow. I checked every fuse/relay/wiring and it was all good. Finally noticed the wiring blew in my fuse box because the previous owner put the wrong fuse in and there was a short (I noticed when I saw burnt plastic on the box under the fuse). Replaced the fuse box and had no more problems. I wouldn't imagine this is that common of a problem but it's easy to check and you can cross one more possibility off the list. As for only cluster problems, take it out and check the back circuit.

So did anyone figure this out ? Only thing that works on my dash is the battery light??
But I have a 91 crx si!!!

I'm havin a similar problem, all my gauges work in reverse gear only...irritating
