HELP: Blowing imobilizer fuse
My friend has a UK spec 1996 Civic coupe 1.6 SOHC EJ and it wouldnt start, he had the dizzy changed with no change then we found the fuse was blown on the Honda imobilizer, if you replace it the car will start fine but when u turn it off the fuse blows and it wont start again. Also whilst idling the the speedo kicks about all over the place, could be related?
If you have any ideas please let us know.
Thanks
Nick

Loose ground maybe, or a short somewhere. Its more then likely distributor related, take it back to where he got it from and tell them its a bad distributor.
