help with b20z swap
I have a b20z swap with a b16 tranny to put into a 92 eg with a automatic d15. I have a few questions on this and I've search which leads me to believe everything Im questioning should be fine, so here it goes.
Will the 92 d series dizzy fit and work on the b20 head or should i just get a conversion off of rywire for a obd1 harness to a obd2 dizzy. Will the d series injectors work in the b20z rail (cause the d rail wont fit on the b20z intake and I already tried switching a b16 intake to the b20 head which didnt work) or should I once again visit rywire for a obd1 harness to a obd2 injector conversion, could I just rewire it? Will the d series mount work on the b, what about the automatic tranny mount, will that specific one be a problem? I can use any b series axle, clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate right?
I want to run a chipped 0bd1 ecu with a b20z map, 6300 shift light (i have no tach), 7300 rev limiter (just guessing what should I rev this thing too?), and of course, no speed limiter. I also want to run a 75 shot. Does this sound like the way to go?
Also, whats up with the big *** box on top of the intake, is it just to quit down the intake noise? Mine broke, should a just take it off and plug the hole.
thnks, brett
