I must surely have the hardest mounts then. This thing isn't really all that bad... I'm just used to stock mounts that were in my 00 EX. I had full prothane mounts in my Cobra with a 13:1 310 and that thing shook like hell!

I'm sure its due to it being a 4 cylinder with cams and rough idle and me not being used to it. I'll probably just sell these off and get a new set of oem mounts.

Thanks guys

I don't think cams would make it vibrate that bad. It's definitely the mounts. Innovative 60a mounts have minimal vibration. I'd look into those if I were you. Nothing wrong with some 99-00 SI mounts though.

Thats the dumbest **** I have ever heard. Go ahead and try that and launch your car a few times and watch that driver side mount bracket get ripped out of the side of your block.

I didn't know the B18C had balance shafts? If so how in the hell do I go about timing it?

try playing around with the idle, it should help get rid of some vibrations. this is what i was told by my avid sales rep. also the mounts will transmit more vibes in the cold than in the warm summer weather. all aftermarket mounts will make the car vibrate though, you can't get around it when you are making something stiffer.

Good info and makes sense. I picked at them with my fingernail last night when it was 38 degrees and they were quite hard!

i have HASport Solid mounts in my del sol and no torque mounts and i beat the car a good amount, and have never had a problem with them. BUT i do have a large issue with **** vibrating, which does get kind of annoying. Before i got used to it i was wishing i would have kept them stock, but now i'm used to it and less annoyed and like the quick pull from less motor movement.
