SRS Light and a few ?'s
Ok so I have a 97 4dr DX civic. It has the SRS light on. I haven't been driving it and my father brought it to Honda and they said it's the SRS brain. My questions are:
1) Can I just buy another SRS ECU and replace it?
2) If so, is it as simple as removing and installing the new one? (no pulling fuse, d/c battery etc, to clear the code)?
3) Where is it located?
4) What type of screws are they? (since I don't know where it's located) torx or hex?
TIA guys.

BUMP.
I just replaced the unit. The old one I shook around and there's something moving in it. The new one should be fine. But I STILL have the SRS light on???
Anyone know how to clear it? or at least run the code???

and it ended up being the same thing as that one. Used two paper clips and got it done in about 2 minutes.
