HELP ASAP Tranny issues after new headgasket
So when i pulled the head on my sisters d16y7 In a civic ex i had to unplug a *** load of connectors for sensors etc. well i removed the 4 that go into the tranny behind the radiator/ under the headlight area. and i got the timing right tdc and the headgasket back etc. all should have been normal..
EXCEPT her damn car is trying to take off in 5th gear of so i can take off and it will slowly rise rpm and never shift even with the car at 100mph????The D for DRIVE inside the cluster is blinking or flashing the whole time when the car is in or out of gear I checked for mixing up connectors and its dummy proof. Im also thinking that the kickdown or what not on the throttle body could be messed up.
SO **** ME AND I HOPE SOMEONE HAS A REASON BEHIND THIS.

The "D" blinking indicates that the PCM senses an abnormality in the output or input systems. Meaning it's throwing a code. See if you can get it hooked up to a diagnostic tool and get the code read. Could check for loose connections too.
