okay i found out my timing (crank and cam) is off. the cam pully is going to the middle mark of the close three not the far mark (TDC)
is this my issue?
i heard that i SHOULD be able to use my OBD1 Dissy no problem from a few locals.
please help, thanks!

Re: (Sketch_hs)
Are you doing a OBD0 to OBD1 conversion? If so what else did you change besides the dizzy?
If your timing belt is off then the car wont start, but you should still be able to get spark.
Trying looking around for a OBD0 dizzy and converting that to OBD1.
Honestly you should be able to use a OBD1 dizzy on that motor, you sure the ignitor is good and everything on it? I know you could use a OBD2 dizzy on a OBD1 motor provided you convert the dizzy to OBD1. You sure you put the dizzy in right and everything is good?
Maybe you have a bad dizzy?

easy thing to do before u start ripping **** apart would be to check for spark and if your timing is off then correct it. as long as u are running the correct ecu the dizzy should would fine unless its shot.
