Default Help, adjusted valve springs on my car and now it won't start

I adjusted the valve springs on my civic and now my car doesn't start. Just the starter goes and nothing else. What happened? If I over tighten the valves springs, will that cause my car not to start?? How tight should my valves be??

I'm a little confused, you adjusted your valves, but don't know how tight they should be? how did you adjust them?

Make sure to rule out all the dumb stuff like, forgot to plug the spark plug wires back into the distributor and what not....your valves would have to be pretty fugged to keep the car from starting....please outline the process you used

Overtightened valve springs??? Are you using a Helms manual or similar? I hope so. If not, and you're just doing it because you think you know how, you may have damaged your engine.

Just double check everything, did you plug sensor on the distributor back in?

i agree with that guy up there. check helm's manual. there should be conversions and instructions on it man. i kinda get impatient once in a while too, so i get stupid also. so take a note, if you're doing it yourself, take more precaution. if nothing esle works, rely on a handyman(trusty mechanic).
