help 95 civic ex coupe
ok so my car is having a problem starting it used to be auto i got it manual(prev owner did the swap) so i checked the wiring and for the auto shifting harness they had the 2 big thick black wires together and a green/white wire with it, so i found a write up and saw the green/white wire goes to the small black wire ok did that and the rest of the wires i did, still nothing heres the wiring i did
green/wht (pos 8) + black (pos 7) = Make your car think its in park to release the key
yellow (pos 5) match yellow at reverse light connector @ trans
grn/blk (pos 4) match green at reverse light connector @ trans
THICK blk/red (pos 11) + THICK blk/wht (pos 12) = starter signal
and the neutral light is on and park light(auto cluster) car still wont start after i did that wiring. it will run if u push start it,and runs fine the starter works it started early today when i got in and started it up then turn it off didnt start again.. if someone can help me out also there no clips going to the clutch pedal there a gray clip not plug in with a green/red and green n white wire. (i was starting the car with out having to push the clutch in)
here some pics
the gray clip with green/white wire & green/red wire
the wiring by the shifter

Are you sure its not an issue with the clutch? on my 96 manual...if i don't push in my clutch all the way in it wont always start..on mine i think it might be something to do with my clutch pedal..so maybe try looking at the clutch..i'm having a brain fart..but look at all the components that are part of the clutch. also check the clutch cable.

The grey connector is for the keyless entry box. Don't worry about that.
Here's a DIY that might help you out with the wiring:
