Help
I have a couple of Q's. First off I have a 93 ex coupe and I am either thinking about a b16a2 swap or boost. Heres the deal my car is an auto so I am going to do an auto-2-manual swap. But, I was thinking if I do go with the b16 what parts do I still have to buy in order to have a 5-speed? since the complete swap comes with the tranny. Pedals, ect. I believe I still have to purchase the tranny mount, but what else? Also will my d16 fit a 91 civic dx 4door. How about a engine from a 87-89 integra. Thanks

i think the best way to do it is find a eg coupe that is a stick and check every little thing that is differnt and make a note but heres what i can think of off my head
well your going to need a new pedal tree , clutch reso , motor, trans, mounts ,axles, com, shift linkage, shifter assmbley, and a couple other litte parts also your going to have to weld a little bracket for the shift linkage . its alot of work but altogether not that hard .
sorry i couldnt help more , have fun and keep us posted on the progress

Re: (HATCHMO92)
hey thanks for the info. Now I am thinking that maybe boosting my d16 would be better since I have to purchase all of those parts seperate if I do a b16. I thought I could save a few bucks by not purchasing the tranny.

Re: (civic_tuner)
Think about getting a newer car... like a 92 and up 5-speed civic. It may be a little easier, esp. with the wiring... If you can't get a newer car.. Good luckon your project.
