Help.
It's a long story, but I have a 00 civic coupe. You can find pictures of it at http://www.ridejudge.com search by username: JQuizel
If you go there you can see that the suspension is an air-ride system. The air-cylinders are the main problem with the car and I am going to be replacing them. My question is what suspension kit will be safe to drive with being it that the car has 19" wheels. The suspension kit can't be more than 1,000 dollars.
My second question is the engine has broke 100k miles on it and will need to be replaced. I need a fast engine but the catch is that it has to say an automatic transmission. I have a below the knee prosthetic leg and am unable to work the clutch. If nothing else I might just replace it with the same engine and either s/c or boost it. Thanks.

Why would the motor need to be replaced? did it blow? if that is the case you can really do any motor. seeing that 99% of honda motors have a auto and manual transmission also are far a s a safe suspension i would stick with the air ride. 19's are some big rims, and it will be hard to find a compatiable suspension

No you dont understand. The air-ride suspension is screwed up and will definately be coming out of the car. We have taken it to three places before and none of them could fix it. I just want a simple suspension system that will be safe to drive on. Doesn't have to be straight from TEIN or Spoon.
The motor is working fine now, but I'm not sure how long it will last. That question was more for future reference. So the RSX-S engine, or GS-R engine will be okay with the auto-transmission?

The motor will probably keep working fine for another 100k miles if you're taking care of it. Honda motors in stock form are pretty close to bomb-proof.

The engine has a header, CAI, and I believe the exhaust system is cat-back. But just for future reference, will the GS-R engine and RSX-S engine work with the automatic transmission?

Re: (Q*Spec.)
As far as your suspension, just get some H&R springs or something with a low amount of drop or just use stock civic suspension.
And your engine should last a good while if you maintain it so I wouldn't worry about having to do a swap unless you just want the extra power. It that case I would reccomend an Auto B16 swap or LS. I wouldn't reccomend putting a GSR on an auto trans.

No B- or K-series engine will work with your D-series automatic transmission. Your best bet is to build another D-series on the side with the intention of turbocharging it down the road. That way, you can keep your current transmission and get some speed out of the deal without sacrificing ease of use.
As far as suspension goes, how stiff do you want it and why are you married to the 19-inch wheels? Unless your dead grandparents bought them for you at graduation, I'd be ditching that **** faster than you can say, "lower unsprung weight what!?"
