Help!
I keep hearing a tapping noise coming from the tranny area. When I sink the clutch the noise stops, but as soon as I release the clutch it starts again. The noise is similar to the tapping sound in the head when you are low on engine oil.

Check that out. I asked the very same ? and i got my answer. Its the Input shaft bearing in your trans. There is the link in the thread i just linked you to with a "How To" to change out the bearing.
I went to honda and got the bearing and 3 quarts of manual trans fluid. From honda the bearing and fliud came to 50 even. I called some of the local shops and everyone wanted nearly $1200.00 to drop the trans and work on it. Im gonna do it myself. It will take a while but just a thought.
Well now you know.

actually... it could be the throw out bearing... thats usually the case and its alot cheaper and easier to fix... so i'd try that first
