Hey man! welcome to the board!
Hmmm...sohc turbo.... the moderator of the civic forum, DragIICivic, ran a sohc turbo setup for a long time. He just recently blew his motor (I believe) so he got a JDM DOHC engine instead (which is also turboed). He'll be able to tell you a lot about what you need to know.
My personal recommendation would be to swap it now for a DOHC engine (but NOT the B16, go for a B18B or B20 instead), and then later on if you get more money, turbo THAT.
Throw out any questions you've got, we'll be happy to answer them!
P.S. All these heathen barbarians are offering you gallons of beer. Ignore them and keep company with the more refined people with more refined drinks
