Default Heater problem??

I have a 97 civic, and my heater seems to just blow regular air. My fan isn't working... could that possibly be the problem to my heater not blowing hot air? Or? If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. I desperately need a heater in my car. Thanks.

How's your temperature gauge? If you're driving on the highway, not beating on it, does it move towards Cold?

Even if your temperature gauge is otherwise normal, my guess is thermostat.

But only if your car is OEM. If it's a boy racer special, someone could've bypassed the coolant lines to the heat exchanger (buried in the passenger dash).
