Heater doesn't work

Default Heater doesn't work

I have the 96-98 climate controls. When I push the control from cold over to the heat, It still blow out Cold air. It work before, but now it just suddenly stop working. My heater doesn't turn on. Any clues to the problem?

can you feel the control switch open and close when you move it? the actual lever that allows cold or hot air is under the dash by steering wheel, or was on my car. sometimes the lever came off the tracks.

Hmm, thanks I will have to open it up and check this sunday.

my freind had the same problem and it was the cables domeing off the tracks. check that first. good luck

I would have a friend sit inside the car and watch the heater valve to see it if opens and closes.

If the cables came off of the track, is it easy to fix? Just stick the cables back on?
