Default hearder question...

I just picked up a header last week and finally got all the gaskets for it so I'm going to install it tomorrow but am wondering how it will affect the exhaust note of the car. Will the exhaust get deeper, raspier will there even be a change? I have a d16y8 with all stock exhaust. thanks for any help.

Your not going to hear much of a difference from your stock header to the aftermarket one.

sweet, I just wanna make sure that is isn't going to sound like crap with a stock exhaust, any power or gas mileage difference is an added plus for me.

like everyone else said, it wont really make a difference as far as sound quality.. however make sure you get your car tuned in order to see/feel a great difference from the header. because if you just slap it on you wont get the full potential of power it can offer. my recommendation is just get a quick tune. you can even read some other posts that have more detailed information on this.
to read about more information on this, here you go:

Hope that post can help you out. Good luck with the header man!
