HEADLIGHT/DASH LIGHT ISSUES
sup guys need to rely on you once again...
eg btw
so my running lights work fine an dash lights are ok.. as soon as i turn on my switch to my headlights, my instrument lights go of.. i have to put it inbetween dash lights an headlights to keep the main headlights on w/ the dash lights ******* pissing me off so i then just started twising it like to go one more knotch but it just went click an slid up a bit more.. now i cnat even turn on my head lights or tun the dash lights off i gota remove the FUSE for instrament light each time i leave my car PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF... anyoin ever take that light switch/turn signal lever off before?
any ideas or things would help greatly

this same thing is happening in my girlfriends car but i cant figure it out. im guessing its the switch??? but i would like to know also if anyone else knows. sorry if this doesnt help ya

Well, there you got. Most likely it may be within the switch. Take it off and check the contacts. Buy some contact cleaner or scrape it off with some metal device (screwdriver, etc.) and see if that helps.

Do the headlights stay on once the fuse blows? If so, I would say you have a short somewhere from your headlight circuit to your parking light circuit. It may be in the switch, but if you can try using a known good switch... If it still messes up, then the problem is somewhere in your wiring.
