headlamp adjustment

headlamp adjustment
my gf just bought a civic and when driving at night we noticed that one is REALLY higher than the other ....... i know on other cars there are adjustment screws where are they on the 1999 civic ex. thanks and i must say civics are better than accords

On the civic there is a small gear on the headlights. One for left.right one for up down. If you open the hood and look at the lights you can miss them. Take a phillips head screw driver and turn the gears to the desired position.

This is the hard way (the gears are a pain in the ***). Follow those gears to the bolt they turn/bolt that turns them. It's an 8mm bolt. Do it that way.
