Header help
Hey guys,
I recently bought a 1999 civic LX with a B16 swap. It has a header on it, but brand is unknown. The header hengs super low. The car is sitting on skunk ProR2 coilovers set at the highest so it's not slammed my any means, but the header has maybe 4"/5" of ground clearance. The header hangs a good 3-4" lower than what the stock manifold setup would hang. The test pipe is low enough that it hangs 3-4" lower than normal, it doesn't even sit up into the body and can see daylight between that and the body. Anyone have suggestions on a header that will bring this up closer to stock height without going back to a stock manifold? In to the point where I'm not even above going to stock manifold. Only thing on the car is a cold air, and the exhaust. Otherwise a stock motor.
. Sorry for the long winded question.

Re: Header help
"Universal" "B" series headers will always hang down a bit low when bolted to a B16 because this engine is shorter than all of the B18 and B20 engines. Your best bet for clearance will be a header designed specifically for the B16A engine and be a 4-2-1 design or a really short primary 4-1 (not a long tube) so only one or two tubes turn and pass under the engine in the recess of the oil pan.

Re: Header help
Any header specifically for B16A (99-2000 Si / 96-97 Del Sol VTEC) will work. Header for B18C1, B18C5, B16B will bolt right up, but sit low due to the deck height.
